Hi. Yes, NIOS Certificate is valid in engineering colleges. Candidate who have passed 12th from any recognised board are eligible to apply for admission in engineering colleges. NIOS is recognised by HRD department of Indian government.

If you have entered incorrect class 12th marks in your JEE Mains registration form, you should immediately try to rectify the error. You can do this during the correction period provided by the National Testing Agency NTA which is usually announced after the application window closes. If you score 98 percentile in second attempt then you will doing very hard with smart work, you will give proper time each and every concepts on particular subject and first you check the most high priority topics that weightage is very high to get chances high no. 1. Revise Your Notes that you study till now.
2. Solve Previous Year question from question Bank.
3. Attempt Mock Test 1-2 in a week.

The tentative qualifying marks for GEN category (common rank list) students is 89.75 for GEN (EWS category) is 78.21. JEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and AJEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam.
