The admission process in NITs and IITs are done through JOSSA counselling and CSAB counselling. If one qualifies for JEE Advanced they get option to apply for IIITS also. In JOSSA and CSAB you have to give your choice priorities. And then according to your rank you are alotted college. JOSSA also provides two mock rounds in which you can change your priorities. After that counselling process starts in which your college get upgraded in 5 rounds. And in each rounds you will get option to freeze, float and slide. Float is always proves to be best option. If you still did'nt get you desired college you can apply for CSAB counselling.

Hi dear,
90.5percentile is quite good score you can score much better in second attempt so don't focus on which college you will get. But IIT takes admission only through JEE Advanced. And as you are from general category you will rarely get any NIT also you can get some of IIIT and GFTI.

Congratulations on your excellent JEE Mains 2023 percentile score! Your chances of getting admission to one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are quite high with a percentile score of 97.15, especially since you belong to the OBC category, which has a reservation of 27%. However, it's not possible to predict with certainty in which NIT you will get a seat as it depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the competition in that particular year, and the choice of the branch you opt for. You can participate in the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling process for admission to NITs and oth

There is no such criteria ( minimum JEE marks) for admission in to SASTRA university . SASTRA university has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 .
Stream 1 .
70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on 12 th percentage ( 75 percent after normalisation ) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent )
For example
12 th percentage - 88 (CBSE) and JEE mains score is 80 .
Normalised percentage of board would be as follows
88 * 100/98.6 = 89.25
( Assuming percentage of topper is 98.6 )
Now 89.25 * 0.75 + 80 * 0.25 =86.94
This is your final score . AIR (SASTRA) is prepared based on this final score . There is a chance AIR up
