First of all, I Congratulate you for getting a good rank in JEE Mains. As you live in Goa, a good option for you is by grabbing the benifit of Home State Quota in NIT Goa. You can get a very good branch like ECE or EEE in NIT Goa if you have opted for it. So there is a possibility of getting CSE Branch in lower NITs only. You can easily get these branches in CSAB Special Rounds if you have missed these branches in JoSAA Councelling.
Whereas getting CSE Branch might be slightly difficult but still you have a chance of getting CSE in moderate NITs only in CSAB Special Rounds provided there are vacant seats still remaining in CSE Branches of these NITs.

Yes, mostof the colleges have JEE Mains compulsory as eligibility criteria. If you want to get into NIT Trichy and if you are not worried about the department, your rank has to be below AIR 20000. In 2018, scoring 145 or more in JEE Mains would put you in this position.
