Architecture is the art and science of building design that develop the concepts for structures and turn those concepts into reality. Architecture often includes imagination; the ability to order ideas and communicate them clearly; a keen interest in human behaviour, our habitat and the natural environment; and problem-solving skills. In developing designs, architects follow building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances, such as those that fulfil the universal design criteria. Computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and building information modelling (BIM) technology has replaced traditional paper and pencil as the most common method for creating design and construction drawings. Architects are licensed professionals and authorized to work with prescribed instructions of the regulatory council.

As per the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) student need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE (Main)
If Candidate has 85 Percentile or above in JEE Main then LPU NEST is exempted. JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for courses like B.Tech. , B.Arch. , B. Plan, and B.E in various IITs, NITs, and CFTIs. JEE Main exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To apply for JEE main exam, you can visit the official website and download the application form. JEE exam is conducted once a year for two Papers which are Paper-1 for B.E or B.Tech course and Paper-2 for B.Arch or B. Plan. JEE Main Exam Pattern:
1- JEE Main exam for Paper-1 consists of 90 Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 300 marks. Test Duration: 3 Hours 20 Minutes. No. of Sections in the exam: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
2- Paper-2A for B.Arch will contain 82 questions for a total of 400 marks. Test Duration: 3 Hours 20 Minutes. Total No. of Sections in the exam: For B.Arch (Paper 2A): Mathematics, Aptitude test, Drawing test.
3- Paper-2B for B. Plan will contain 105 Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 400 marks. Test Duration: 3 Hours 20 Minutes. Total No. of Sections in the exam: For B. Plan (Paper 2B): Mathematics, Aptitude test, Planning test (MCQs)
