Hello Sowry Reddy, I think you are talking of percentile and not percentage in JEE Mains. Right? Firstly I must congratulate you for getting such great percentile. I am sure with this percentile you should get admission in your desired college. However I would strongly recommend that you should appear for the next sessions of JEE Mains examination and try to improve your percentile. This in turn will make your chances brighter. Best wishes to you.

Hello Tanisha, your percentile is definitely good. But you have not mentioned many things that could have enabled us to give you a detailed and proper response. Okay. Your percentile means there are almost 19% students above you in merit. (100-81). About 10Lakh students appeared meaning there are about 1.9Lakh students ahead of you in order of merit. I can understand your angst but these are hard facts. I would strongly recommend that you appear for further rounds of JEE Mains with aim of improvement in your percentile. Best wishes to you.

For engineering students, there will be primarily two types of interviews conducted by most companies Technical and HR interviews. Technical Interview: In a technical interview, you will be asked technical questions related to your branch. You should have a good grip over core subjects to ace the round. I have appeared in interviews for IT companies only, so the recommended questions below will be relevant to students from the IT branch in particular. While preparing for the placement drive, you need to focus on questions such as
What Is Object-Oriented Programming? What is Operator overloading? What are the methods overloading and meth

Hello Arijit Paul,
There is no quota for female students per say in government colleges. Government desires that certain minimum percentage of females should be encouraged to take admission in engineering and hence government provides supernumerary seeds in IIT and NIT. However at what percentile this will be happening is just not predictable. Sometimes it could go as low as 5% tiles with respect to the last student that is a male student admitted. Best wishes to you.
