Q:   Can I expect good salary after doing M.Tech in CSE?
A:

The average M.Tech CSE salary for fresh postgraduate students is somewhere between 4 and 7 Lakh. For mid-senior level positions, the salary range is slightly higher on the basis of the experience and skills acquired by the individuals over a few years. Their salary would be between INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA. For senior-level management positions, the salary in the CSE field is more than INR 10 LPA and can go up to INR 20 LPA as well because of the demand for CSE professionals in this age of digitalization.

Q:   Can Electronics Engineer become a professor after pursuing B.Tech?
A:

Yes, Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Electrical Engineering will also be required to complete MTech and PhD in the required discipline. They must clear GATE in order to pursue M.Tech and later pursue PhD in the same discipline. The placements in this college are very less every year, and the students have to face off-campus interviews through walk-in.

I would suggest that others not take admission in my college.
Placements: The students placed in our department are only 2, in TCS with a package of 3.5 LPA which is around Rs. 25,000 per month which is very low. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. The internship in our department has not been received by anyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our department is of very poor quality. There are only 2 labs in our department for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students. Sometimes we need to adjust our schedule due to lab issues. Wi-Fi is low-speed. The classrooms did not have a projector or digital LED for teaching.
Faculty: The teachers are not educated, firstly, they received a degree from our college and started teaching in our college. As our batch is under SPPU, the syllabus of SPPU is just theory-oriented, not industry-oriented, and our teachers did not learn those subjects in their lives, and just read in front of us, not teaching us.
Other: Firstly I have completed my Diploma in Computer Engineering with a score of 92 percent. I made a mistake in filling the CAP round, and when I was allotted this college, which was in the 4th CAP round, I thought that I should take a drop for one year, but taking a drop is not worthwhile. The improvement that should be made in my course is to replace all the teachers and bring well-educated teachers who can teach us properly.

I enjoy my college life.
Placements: Placements offered at the college are good. If you are an above-average student, the package may not be sustainable. However, you can get placements here, but there is no guarantee. There are many companies offering placements to students, such as Mahindra, IBM, Bosch, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okayish, not so good, but we can also say it is not so bad. Every department has libraries with good books for guiding students. The classrooms are also equally good and are equipped with projectors for digital teaching. The canteen is also nice. The quality of the food is not appetizing, but some food items are good.
Faculty: Teachers working in our department are skilled enough in the subjects they teach. They are also helpful when we need them. The course they teach is good, but you may need some external knowledge about the course before you join because it can be helpful for further studies. However, there is no compulsion for it.
Other: The best thing about the course is that teachers make it interesting as we learn deeply about the course. There are many labs available for students to experience the course to the fullest. There are also fests conducted in the college for fun and relaxation during college life.

Learning experience and supporting faculty.
Placements: About 60-80% of students get placed in our course. The highest package in our department is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Katalyst Pvt. Ltd., Optimast, Biofics Pvt. Ltd., and Bosch Chassis Ltd. Around 30% of students go for internships in different companies. The top roles offered are Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) roles.
Infrastructure: The Mechanical Engineering Department has large, spacious classrooms, a library, laboratories, and workshops. It also provides free Wi-Fi and digital classrooms. Different instruments and machines, such as CNC machines and lathe machines, are available. Hostel facilities are available only for girls. Boys have to find nearby private hostels on their own.
Faculty: The staff in the Mechanical Engineering Department are well educated and always ready to help students with academics. Teachers are supportive, explain every concept clearly, and resolve doubts properly. They also explain the university curriculum in an easy-to-understand manner. The department helps students prepare for semester exams by conducting preliminary exams before the end-term examinations. Student pass percentage is 80-90%.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I have strong knowledge of mechanical concepts and machines. There is nothing that needs to be improved, as the course is already improved. The college conducts technical events, festivals, and other activities.

It is a good college of engineering.
Placements: The college provides very good placements. The highest salary package offered is 26 LPA - 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA - 9 LPA. The lowest is 3.25 LPA.
Infrastructure: The worst hostel I have ever seen. While taking admission, it showed a lot of facilities like a water filter, a study table, a lift, etc. Now it's almost 3 months after taking admission; they have not given study tables till now. The lift has not been working for 3 months. They are making false promises. The college is good, very clean. We have good Wi-Fi. Outer is available. The college canteen is well. Food is like home food, great college. Awesome experience to live here. The rector and the staff are very well-mannered. Food quality is great, and they provide daily cleaning in hostel rooms. The place is quite peaceful, mostly during exam periods. Overall, the experience is great to live here. Fully recommend them because they provide complete security to the girls. A very good hostel has several facility shortcomings. The non-functional lift poses a convenience, while the intermittent hot water supply disrupts daily routine. Moreover, the absence of study tables hampers academic productivity. Improved maintenance and essential amenities like functional lifts, consistent hot water, and study areas are essential for enhancing the overall hostel experience.

I had a most enjoyable journey at the college.
Placements: 85% of students get placed through the college campus drive. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are RevBoosters and Trimech India. Internships are provided to 70 students. From internships, students are selected as full-time employees in the same organisation.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available, but all sports equipment is available. The mess is very clean and hygienic. There are large monitors for digital learning. A MacBook lab is also present for engineering students to work and understand more effectively.
Faculty: Our college has supportive teachers. Exams are strictly performed. The teaching staff members are very supportive in every situation, not only in study material but also in personal problems. There is no burden of any type of activity to perform in college, and we are free to participate in every function.

My review about this college.
Placements: Students are given training to perform better in the interview. Each student can easily have 2–3 offers within big IT giants. Aricent and Nagarro are bulk-hiring companies. Lots of our alumni made it to Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Most of the students here are now working with big names in the IT industry. So we can say that once you get admission here, you get your future settled. The highest package was 17 LPA and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The college offered good placement opportunities for students interested in getting themselves employed.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is good, starting with easy concepts to familiarize students with all the subjects. The teaching methods are also good, teachers here don’t assume that students are experts. They always focus on laying a strong foundation first. Currently, only a girls’ hostel is available, and for food or mess facilities, canteens are present on campus with good food and maintained hygiene. The girls’ hostel is equipped with security cameras and a security guard for safety. Additionally, there is a common TV in the girls’ hostel for entertainment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly cooperative and always available to listen to students. Teaching faculty do not meet the needs in regular lectures, which is the biggest disadvantage. Sources for learning and grasping new things are very few. Courses like PHP, Linux, etc., are not available, which are extremely important for a computer student. The exam structure includes two semesters, with one theory paper and another being the lab. The exam structure is decided by Pune University. Exams are conducted semester-wise and depend on the student’s field and the pattern decided by Pune University.
