You haven't mentioned your reservation category, so considering you have a general, you need to get atleast 70 - 80 percentile to get qualified for the JEE Mains exam. And if you want to get into the NITs, then you need to score atleast 93 percentile.

The admissions in SSN College of Engineering are solely done through the TNEA counselling based on Merit(12th Marks) and conducted by Anna University. The cutoff marks of SSNCE are generally high. Hence please apply through the TNEA conducted by Anna University.

Yes, 82% is a good score, you can get scholarship based on your marks. Moreover, as per The eligibility criteria for B.Tech(Hons) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. You can also appear in LPUNEST exam for better scholarship.So, for admission in B TECH CSE in LPU now you just have to apply LPUNEST (a test for admission and scholarship) This is an objective type online test with no negative marking. Based on the cut offs you will be eligible for counseling and then as per your preference.

Admissions in IITs/ NITs/ IIITs and other CFTIs at least 75% marks in class 12th, or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective board, to qualify for admissions. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks are 65% marks.
