However I would like to advise you at this instant that you should concentrate more on studies at hand and try to learn the subjects thoroughly without bothering much about the marks that you are going to get. Hello Satya, if I may say so you are ranking in JEE Mains at about Two lacs Plus is a bit on the lower side. It would be quite tough to get admission based on merit with this rank. However in many states there are plenty of engineering colleges and as a consequence they are not able to get students up to the capacity. In such scenario if you apply then you will get admission almost definitely. On the other hand these colleges perhaps are not getting students because they do not offer many facilities and also the past performance in placements is also not very noteworthy. If you are really interested in only engineering then perhaps you can think of going in for management quota in private colleges or deemed to be university. Best wishes to you.
