You can check the link for college predictor. Also, if you are thinking about NIT Srinagar, then you've good chances to get in there with your rank for both EE and ECE. So, try your luck. You have fair chances.

Write the exam but you can not attend the counselling for NITs which are the most reputed colleges in country after IITs. So, you can either go for improvement of 12th along with the JEE preparation.

The most scoring part of JEE. Bit there is no way that you can crack the exam without preparing for physics and maths. You still have some time. Re-collect all the concepts you have learned during your 11th and 12th. And you'll crack the exam if you have formed good concepts while your studies.

NIT/IIT after completion of your Diploma course because NIT/IITs does not offer lateral entry admissions to B.Tech course. Only candidates who had completed 12th standard from a recognised board and those who had secured good rank in JEE Mains and Advanced examinations are eligible to get admission in NIT/IITs. Since, you had not pursued 12th standard, being a Diploma holder, you cannot get admission in B.Tech course in NIT/IITs.
