Like most universities, SASTRA University bases admissions decisions on several criteria, such as JEE Main scores and board exam results. Board exam scores are taken into account by SASTRA University as a prerequisite for admission. Although a score of 68% on your board examinations is respectable, the precise cut-off may change based on the volume of applications and the programme for which you are applying. If you receive a 30% on the JEE Main, your percentile rank is relatively low. During counselling, concentrate on making informed selections by taking into account your category rank as well as your overall rank. Look at branching out or attending other institutions where your ranks are more in line with the cutoff ranks from prior years.
