India's two most esteemed engineering institutes are Delhi Technological University (DTU) and National School of Engineering (NSUT). As to the web material, a candidate's JEE Mains general category rank must be less than 10,000 in order to be admitted and guaranteed a seat at DTU. In other words, your JEE Mains score needs to be at least higher than the 99.2 percentile. Your percentile for the top branches of NSUT should be 98+. The percentage, however, changes based on the courses selected. In 2023, the closing rank for the NSUT East Campus B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) was 9676, and the closing rank for the B.Tech

SASTRA University BTech admission criteria are divided into two streams and they are as mentioned below:
Stream 1: JEE Mains + Class 12 marks (50% weightage given to each), for admission to 50% of the total seats
Stream 2: Class 12 marks (100% weightage), for admission to the remaining 50%
For 50% of the total seats, the University accepts JEE Main scores and for the rest of the seats, admission is done based on the merit secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
The score obtained at 35 percentile will not be much favorable in JEE Main. With such a percentile, candidates will not qualify for the counselling process and will not be

A JEE rank of more than 70,000 is typically regarded as low, and applicants frequently give up on getting into the NITs and B.Tech programmes of their choice. The good news is that a number of universities, such as NITs and IIITs, accept JEE Main low scores up to 2,000,000. Based on the data from the previous year, NIT Mizoram has the lowest cutoff with a closing rank of 678406 for B.Tech. Civil Engineering (Gender-Neutral). It is followed by NIT Sikkim, which has a JEE Main rank of 639272 for B.Tech. EEE, and NIT Agartala, which has a JEE Main rank of 287950 for B.Tech. Biotech & Bio Chem Engineering. Therefore a rank of 9 Lacs can al

The eligibility criteria for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs are decided by the institute and not by NTA. JEE Main eligibility criteria decided by NTA are only meant for appearing in the examination. The details about eligibility criteria for admission to the institute are provided by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the counselling authority which admits students to these institutes. For details about the eligibility criteria for admission, candidates can visit the JoSAA website. Candidates need to score at least 75% marks in class 12 to get admission in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates belonging to SC/ST need to h

The opening and closing ranks, or cutoffs, for the JEE Main category of the GFTI colleges' BTech, BArch, and dual degree courses are released by JoSAA. In order to be admitted through JEE Main to Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), you must have a percentile score of between 90 and 95, or roughly 150 to 180 marks out of 300. You have a better probability of getting into a GFTI with these grades. The number of applicants taking the entrance exam, the total number of seats available, and the exam's difficulty level are some of the variables that affect the JEE main cut-off.
