For appearing in this exam there is no restriction of 75percentage in 12th. But for becoming eligible to apply for NIT's or JEE Advanced this condition kicks in. Of course if your state has accepted JEE Mains examination as entrance exam for admissions to engineering colleges in your state, then I am sure with almost 95 percentile, you will get government college. Okay? Further to help you I am attaching a link that will tell you everything about this exam. https://www.shiksha.com/engine

If you are an open category candidate, it is highly unlikely for you to get into government colleges. You better seek private colleges.
