NIT cutoff 2022 for ME: The opening and closing rank for the Mechanical Engineering branch of NITs will be announced after each round of the JoSAA 2022 round seat allotment result. The result will be announced in the form of opening and closing ranks for different courses offered at NITs.
NIT cut off 2022 for ME is the rank after which an institute allows no seat allotment to students. After JoSAA counselling, closing ranks or cutoff were announced for all the participating institutes.

Candidates who cleared either of the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams and registered successfully for the JoSAA 2022 counselling process were eligible for the seat allotment process. JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process was conducted in multiple rounds where the opening and closing ranks and released separately for each round. The JoSAA opening and closing ranks differ for the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
The authority will release the official schedule of the JoSAA. It is expected that the Round 5 seat allotment will be released in July 2024, and the cutoff will also be published in July 2024 (tentatively) on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.

It is possible for you to secure a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology), although it may not guarantee your preferred branch or institute. If your percentile is above 96, your chances of getting into a respectable NIT increases, but you may need to compromise on your branch selection. No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission

The JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling dates will be made available on the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in. Usually, the JoSAA counselling registration starts a day after the JEE Advanced result is anniunced. Complete schedule will be available on the official website.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
