NIT cutoff 2022 for ME: The opening and closing rank for the Mechanical Engineering branch of NITs will be announced after each round of the JoSAA 2022 round seat allotment result. The result will be announced in the form of opening and closing ranks for different courses offered at NITs.
NIT cut off 2022 for ME is the rank after which an institute allows no seat allotment to students. After JoSAA counselling, closing ranks or cutoff were announced for all the participating institutes.

Candidates who cleared either of the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams and registered successfully for the JoSAA 2022 counselling process were eligible for the seat allotment process. JoSAA counselling and seat allotment process was conducted in multiple rounds where the opening and closing ranks and released separately for each round. The JoSAA opening and closing ranks differ for the IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
Commonly asked questions
Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2026. The JoSAA 2026 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
The authority will release the official schedule of the JoSAA. It is expected that the Round 5 seat allotment will be released in July 2024, and the cutoff will also be published in July 2024 (tentatively) on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.
With 95 percentile in JEE Mains, your chances of getting into a NIT are high, but high-demand courses may not be available.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE.
