The application fee is non-transferable and non-refundable. The application fee for JIPMER 2018 is sectioned category wise:
1. General/OBC/OCI/NRI category is INR 1000.
2. SC/ST category is INR 800.
3. OPH are exempted.
4. NRI/OCI category is INR 2500.

Yes, it's a good college (along with AIIMS, it's an institute of national importance which offers UG degree so it and AIIMS can only hold UG entrance exam rest colleges. Admissions are through NEET UG, you should give NEET UG along with AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS entrance exam.
