You will have to appear for an exam called NEET UG along with your HSE board exams. This exam is conducted in first sunday of May . It is of 720 marks consisting of 3 subjects namely Physics, chemistry and biology.

NEET UG is the accepted entrance exam for MBBS admission at IMS BHU. NEET UG is the medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).The exam is usually conducted once every year, on the first Sunday of May. The exact exam dates vary from year to year. In 2025, the NEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025 (2 pm to 5 pm). The application process for the same was conducted between Feb 7, 2025 and Mar 7, 2025. Eligible candidates can visit the official NEET UG (NTA) website to learn about other important dates.

The AIIMS MBBS 2024 test has been replaced with the NEET 2024 exam. The pen and paper test is scheduled for May 5, 2024. Admission to the MBBS programme at AIIMS is currently only available through the NEET process. About 17 AIIMS Institutes, including AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Patna, Raipur, and Bhubaneshwar, respectively, give admission to qualified students for the NEET.

Previously, the admission process for the MBBS programme at AIIMS Bhubaneswar involved considering the scores of the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam. However, this was changed in 2019, with NEET scores becoming the primary criteria for admission. Hence, currently, aspiring candidates must perform well in the NEET exam to secure admission into the MBBS programme at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
