Average Indian students can apply to Johns Hopkins University. However, the Harvard standard of admission is very high, considering that the institution prefers to take students with an excellent academic record, an average GPA of around 3.9 on a 4.0 scale, and advanced coursework like Andhra Pradesh or IB classes.

Applicants are to present their compelling personal narratives and demonstrate the extracurricular activities they are engaged in. Meeting all these conditions does not guarantee admission, although it increases the chances significantly for such an average student targeting this particular esteemed institution.

Because of this, it has attracted many more international students, particularly those from India. Also, the name of the university itself in engineering and very promising areas such as innovation and healthcare solutions make many aspiring engineers wish to step into the field-based impact.
