Johns Hopkins University is one of the top ranked universities in the USA. The university is ranked #11 in USA and #16 at global level as per Shiksha Popularity Ranking. The university is ranked by some of the reputed ranking bodies as well. US News has ranked JHU #14 in 2025. THE (Times Higher Education) has ranked the university #16. Apart from this, QS World University Ranking has ranked the university #24 in 2026, whereas it was ranked #32 in 2025, indicating an increasing graph.

Yes, Johns Hopkins University supports Indian students with visa, immigration and travel related paperwork. The office of International Services handles all these matters and stays in contact with the students. Once the student is admitted, OIS will guide him with the visa application process.

Yes, Johns Hopkins University assists Indian students in finding work opportunities. The university offers OPT (Optional Practical Training) which is a temporary employment. Student who has maintained his F-1 status for atleast one academic year, is eligible to apply for OPT. Apart from this, the JHU also offers other resources like internship and research opportunities, development programs, opportunities to build up a network and many more.
