Hello Srinivas,
PG Diploma is considered equivalent to a post-graduate degree, however, even by many, it is not included as a degree course. It is a Diploma course. MA is a post-graduate degree. Moreover, journalism and mass communication together is a wide topic that will cover all the aspects. It is not just limited to journalism only. You will have more options (other than a journalist).

Hello Mohan journalism is a vast field that requires your command at every topic. If you are opting for this course it doesn't mean you should be good at English. However, it needs proficiency in at least one language. If you prefer to speak Hindi and you want to work with Hindi newspaper or channel then try to polish your Hindi. Hello Riya First off, find your interest, that where your likings and zeal lie. The good option nowadays is of electronic media. You should opt for that because there are many chances of getting into a profession of a news anchor (if you really work hard and have the calibre to handle programme wholly at your shoulders). This is the best field that I consider too. Apart from this, you can opt out for public relation field or for advertising groups. There are other many creative chances. If you love to write and have the power in your words than try to become a writer/ journalist/script writer, etc. Thank you.

Hello Aamir
Advertising is one of the flexible streams, and can easily be pursued after the completion of your Bachelors in journalism and mass communication. If you must have noticed, the syllabus of one of the semesters includes basics of advertising in your course. Thank you.
