In the UG, you have two courses run by the department of media studies called BA JPEng (Triple major in Journalism, Psychology and English). Another course ifCEP (Communication and Media, English, Psychology). Both are in fact the most sought after courses and I personally know people doing this course. According to them, if you plan to work in the media and allied industry, CEP is the best choice. If you want to pursue higher studies or you focus particularly in journalism, JPEng is the right course. Otherwise, you can also consider Journalism Honours as well as English Honours. Yup, you can get a seat easily in Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism. Eligibility for MJMC is graduate in any disciple. It's a 2 years course. After that, only you can enter the field of journalism.

Hi Samiksha,
The 2 Symbiosis of Pune provide different courses and come under the same University. The older campus focuses on MBA and other courses whereas the new campus in Viman Nagar houses law College, liberal arts, etc. They do have different entrance exams and different campuses, but other than that everything is same.

It is really good, if you are interested for TV Journalism. But, I will suggest you that you should spend few time in print media first. After that, you should try TV Journalism. And, if you are a graduate, then you can do short term Diploma course in TV Journalism. There is no need to do a full time degree course. Number of TV Channels are also offering short term courses for the same. But, you have time and money both, then you can do a degree programme from that institution those are offering the same.
