Yes ! you are eligible at most universities to take admission in Journalism courses you may wish to contact a college which provides good exposure of industry. look for colleges offering you placement and scholarship. It depends on what stream you had in B. E. Like of you had core streams like civil or mechanical you can opt for govt exams. If you had IT then you should go for mba in any specialization of your choice as there are a lot of IT companies nowadays. Journalism should not be an option for an student of technical background, unless you are attracted towards it.

Both fields are quite different. Computer Science Engineering is a career oriented programme so i suggest you to go for it. If journalism is your hobby you can join any certificate or diploma course during the time of your vacations.

There are no requirements as such for BJMC - Bachelor in Journalism & Mass Communication as any 12 pass student can go for this course. Talking about the scope, this course is quite in demand nowadays and has a bright future. Also university plays a vital role in these kind of courses for placement assistance and practical exposure is very m,uch required here. Suggesting few universities -

PG Diploma in Journalism will lead you to a diploma where as MA in Journalism will lead you to a degree. If you ware wishing to pursue Phd further, then select MA else you may pursue PG Diploma from a renowned college.
