The placement of KIIT Kanpur for B.Tech biotechnology: Nearly 94% of students have been placed thus far. The majority of students are hired by consulting firms and service-based businesses. Candidates who get shortlisted based on entrance score have to further take part in the group discussion and personal interview round. 

HBTU course fee is cumulative of various components such as tuition fee, medical fee, training & placement, university alumni fund, caution deposit, etc. The total tuition course fee is INR 70,000 and a one-time fee is INR 5,000. The university admit candidates to its BBA programme based on merit in CUET-UG exam. After conclusion of application process, university releases a list of CUET shortlisted candidates. A final list is released after the fee deposition. Further, if seats are left vacant, then a list of candidates eligible for university entrance exam is released. Selected candidates need to appear for this exam. After this exam, selected Non-CUET candidates list is released along with a waiting list. 

The annual academic fee for MCA is INR 1.2 lakh. After seat allotment, a candidate has to deposit the balance Annual Academic Fee i.e., INR 60,000 for General/OBC category candidates and INR 35,000 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. The fee payment can be done via online mode and should be paid within the prescribed time period.
