Candidates must have completed their professional degrees from State Agricultural Universities or ICAR-recognised deemed universities and have a minimum OGPA of 7.0 out of 10 (or 6.5 for SC/ST candidates). OR at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in all classes starting from SSLC (Class 10) onwards under the traditional system. Additionally, the selection is based on KMAT/ CMAT/ CAT scores, followed by a GD and PI.

No, KEAM scores are not important to get admission into the BTech course at Kerala Agricultural University because the university also accepts relevant scores from ICAR CUET for admission to BTech. However, the university gives 80% of the seats on the basis of KEAM engineering rank secured by the students, and 20% of the seats are reserved for the students who achieved valid ICAR CUET scores.

The basic eligibility requirement to get admission into the BTech course at UAS Dharwad and Kerala Agricultural University is almost similar, in which candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream with an aggregate of 50%. Further, for the selection process, KAU accepts relevant ICAR CUET/ KEAM scores. On the other hand, UAS Dharwad accepts relevant scores of ICAR CUET/ KCET. Hence, the only difference is the type of entrance exam accepted for the BTech course. Candidates can choose any of them that align with their career choices, location preferences and affordability.

Officially, the data on the lowest packages offered to BTech courses at Kerala Agricultural University has not been released. However, as per the verified Shiksha review of BTech students at KAU, the lowest package offered by the university is INR 10 LPA. Candidates must note that this does not represent the complete feedback from all BTech students of Kerala University and its affiliated colleges.

Kerala Agricultural University offers BTech in Agricultural Engineering through Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and
Food Technology. As per the prospectus of the college, the number of seats assigned to BTech in Agricultural Engineering is 53. The basic eligibility requirement to get admission into this specialisation is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with an aggregate of 50%.

The aforementioned seat intake information has been taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

Yes, candidates can apply for BTech courses at a college affiliated with Kerala Agricultural University through a single application. Moreover, candidates are required to choose affiliated colleges and BTech courses. Candidates are required to choose a centralised admission process for the BTech course at the university's official website to apply to the affiliated college simultaneously. Candidates are required to pay the course fee according to the college they get a seat in.
