Want to gain admission to colleges that offer Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science? If you scored 51,000 in KCET, it is possible. Some of the colleges that you may get include RV College of Engineering, the cutoff rank being 45000- 55000 or BMS College of Engineering the cutoff rank being 40000- 60000. The others can be PES University it has a tuition fee of 2,50,000 INR per year and Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering which costs 2,00, 000 INR per year for tuition. Getting to these eligibility criteria does not mean admission as there are selection factors such as counseling among others.

Hence, considering that of the 32000 rank in KCET secure through SC category, one's chances of securing a government college for Veterinary Science are unclear. In the KCET counseling of Veterinary Science done in the year 2022 the marks of government colleges for general category comes to around 10000-15000 and for SC 20000-25000. Since you are in a rank higher than the SC category cut off, you aren't qualified to get enroll to the top government college. But you could be considered for admission into the other state colleges or the less privileged federal institutions with lesser seat allocations. In total, Veterinary Science has abo

Yes, you can get admission to BLDEA's V. P. Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology for the B.E. / B.Tech course without KCET.

The college offers two modes of admission:

  1. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test): This is the preferred and primary mode for admission. However, if you have not appeared for KCET, you can still apply.

  2. Management Quota: You can apply under the management quota if you haven't appeared for KCET. Admission under this quota is usually based on your 12th-grade marks and, in some cases, performance in the JEE Main exam.

Yes, there is an additional round for seat allocation in the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test). After the first rounds of seat allocation, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) holds a second round for students who didn't get a seat before or want to change their choices.

In 2024, the process for this extra round started on September 30 and will end on October 4. The temporary seat allocation for this round will be on October 7, and the final results will be announced on October 8. Students need to finish their admission process by downloading the allocation letter and reporting to their chosen colleges by October 15.

There are private colleges that can offer you admission on the basis of this rank. Also, you can appear for college-based entrance test and score well. There are colleges that consider Class 12th marks and scores of entrance tests conducted by them. These are very important decisions, please have a detailed discussion with your parents before any final decision.

The best thing you can do is forfeit your seat alloted in COMEDK and then continue with the KCET counseling procedure. If in case you have taken admission in the seat alloted by COMEDK, then you have to give a written request to the COMEDk forum/office to reject your seat and give back the documents.

Different counseling processes

KCET and COMEDK have different counseling processes:

KCET: Candidates must qualify for the KCET exam, verify documents, and enter options to be considered for counseling and seat allotment.

COMEDK: Candidates must register for online counseling, upload documents for verification, and participate in ro

With a KCET rank of 30,468 in Agriculture and 1,977 in Agriculture practicals, you stand quite a good chance of entry into some of the top colleges in Karnataka in Round 1. It'll all depend on the type of college, their past trends, and if the candidate is flexible with different branches under agriculture or even other sister fields. Keeping an ear for college-specific seat availability notice would be a good idea.
