BMS College of Engineering course admission is based on candidates' achieved scores in KCET/ COMEDK UGET. The admission process for this college commences with registration for the accepted entrance examination. Moreover, admission to the BMS College of Engineering includes several steps, such as registration for the entrance examination, appearing for the examination, results and counselling, seat allotment, etc. A portion of seats is reserved under the management quota, and the admission process for candidates taking admission through the entrance exam and the management quota is different. Step 1: BMS College of Engineering BTech Application Process 2026
Register for the entrance examination: Visit the official website of the entrance examination i.e., either the KEA official website or COMEDK UGET official website to register for the entrance exam. Fill out the registration form with all the necessary details. Further, appear for the entrance exam on the scheduled date and time.
Step 2: Results and Counselling
After the result declaration of the entrance exam, candidates are required to appear for the centralised counselling process, conducted by the COMEDK. Seats are allotted based on candidates' achieved rank in the concerned entrance exam and choice filling during counselling. In addition, choose BMSCE as the preferred college.
Step 3: Release of Merit List
BMS College of Engineering released the cutoff or opening ranks for BE courses. Further, candidates with equal and more than ranks/scores can participate in seat allotment.
Step 4: Seat Alottment
For the seat allotment, candidates are required to fill out the application form for BMSCE. Further, attend the counselling session of the college for seat confirmation as per the schedule provided by the college. Counselling is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, limited to 40 sessions per day.
