The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is not required to get admitted to H.M.S Institute of Technology's B.E./B.Tech programs. Direct admission is usually permitted by the institute through management quota or other entrance tests that are approved by the institution. For comprehensive information about alternate admission pathways and eligibility requirements, it is advised to visit the official website or get in touch with the admissions office as individual requirements and procedures may differ.

Yes, taking both the COMEDK and KCET exams can increase your chances of securing admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka. COMEDK is a state-level exam that allows entry to private universities, while KCET is required for admission to government colleges in the state. By attempting both exams, you broaden your options and improve your chances of getting into a preferred institution, ensuring you have more opportunities to choose from.

Whether you apply through management quota or not, the cost of a B.Sc. in Forestry without KCET rank may differ depending on the college. Government colleges typically charge between INR 50,000 and INR 1.5 Lakhs in tuition per year, whereas private colleges may charge INR 1.5 to 3 Lakhs. Since costs can vary depending on location and seat availability, it's crucial to inquire with the particular college you're interested in for precise information.
