The admission rank at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) College for BAMS courses shall be based on the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) rank. BAMS admissions are conducted through the Karnataka state quota and thus are open only to candidates who have appeared for the KCET.
The KCET rank is, however, preferred when it comes to BAMS admissions at SDM College, because though the All India Rank obtained through NEET may be considered for some seats, especially in the case of All India quota or if the institution happens to be participating in any central counseling process. Although you choose the engineering and UG NEET streams, still you get the admit card of the KCET. You may get your admit card since Karnataka Examination Authority delivers KCET admit card to those people also, who registered for them by applying the streams under engineering and UG NEET. To download this you must visit the authorized KEA website using application number and the first four characters of your name. Ensure that your application is successfully submitted and processed to receive your hall ticket for the examination.
