Candidates seeking MD admission at SCTIMST Trivandrum are required to complete the INI-CET application process. While applying, they must submit the prescribed application fee via online payment modes. The application fee depends on the reservation category of the applicants. The category-wise INI CET application fee is given in the table below:

Every year, SCTIMST Trivandrum accepts MD admissions in two sessions: the January session and the July session. MD aspirants are required to appear for the INI-CET exam conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. The application process for the January session of INI-CET usually takes place between September and October of the preceeding year. Candidates willing to take admission in the July session can apply between March and April. Candidates are advised to check the official exam website for exact admission schedule.

Amrita School of Engineering B.Tech offers 15 specialisations in different disciplines. The highest number of seats are allocated to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering by ASE Amritapuri. The institute does not provide the lowest number of seats to any specialisation, because Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and the other two specialisations have the same number of seats i.e., 60.

As per the prospectus (2025) available on the official SCTIMST Trivandrum website, MD students get a stipend of INR 61,300 per month. The institute's rules regarding HRA, NPA, DA & DA on TA are applicable on the given stipend. It must be noted that the mentioned amount is sourced from official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
