Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) was established under the Kerala University of Health Sciences Act 2010 to provide relevant education, teaching, training, research, and systematics in Modern Medicine, Homeopathy, and Indian Medicine including Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, naturopathy, unani and other related sciences and the consistency of the various undergraduate curricula in medicine and related subjects in the state of  The university is located in Thrissur, Kerala. Infrastructure: College has the best facilities and infrastructure for a medical college. Classes are air-conditioned and comfortable. Food, no doubt, is the best. Also, the canteen and cafe inside the campus are so good. You have Wi-Fi inside the hospital and also in the labs, but phones are not allowed in the classroom. If caught, action will be taken. There is a gym in the college that is free for students and faculty members.

Faculty: Faculty graduated from well-known medical colleges only. Do a great job of molding better doctors. Exams are usually tough, but later we will thank the support and help the faculty provided for us. Pass percentage is always good, and for our batch, it was 89% and is never below 85%.

Other: College have a good number of patients.Arts and sports are there, but not as much as in other courses. As a medical student, college life is good if you come without overly high expectations.

It is a good college for studies but not in terms of placements.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college were Amarai, Milky Mist, Milma, etc. Roles offered were technical superintendent, quality analyst, etc. About 10% of the students got internships, and internships are mandatory here.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, and there were almost all labs like microbiology, computer lab, chemistry and technology labs. Classrooms were neat and clean. One of the main attractive things in our college is its good library, which has books that help students to learn better. There were separate hostels for both boys and girls, and the food available at the hostel has good quality. The college also gives importance to sports.

Faculty: Teachers are another best part of our college. They are always ready to clear doubts and help students. Some of them were PhD holders, while others were mostly M.Tech graduated alumni of the same college. Every teacher is highly knowledgeable, and the college has ICAR accreditation. Because of internships provided to students, they will be aware of the industry.

There is no campus placement available for BVSC students, but note that, as it is a medical course and everyone is a doctor on graduation, there may not be a need for campus placements. The eligibility criteria for admission to the MVSc programme at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry recognised by the University with an OGPA of 6.0/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of 50% marks in traditional system. For SC/ST candidates, the OGPA shall be 5.5/10 or equivalent. For admission to the BVSc & AH degree course, a candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks secured from a recognised board of the country.
