Korea University offers many courses at UG and PG levels. The admission requirements for the both of these levels vary. For example for the UG courses which are Korean taught, international students are required to have TOPIK level 3 or higher. Look at the list of Korean University admission requirements below -
Undergraduate -
- A high school Diploma with 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- English or Korean language proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL and TOPIK)
- Docs like the application fee and form
- Passport copy
- SAT or ACT

A D-2 visa is required to study at Korea University. The visa requirements for international students are given below:
- Application form (for visa)
- Passport, and one copy of the passport ID page
- Passport-sized photo
- Certificate of Admission
- Application fee 60 ~ 90 USD
- ID card (personal ID in residing country)
- Certificate of KU Business Registration
- Invitation Letter from NIIED (National Institute for International Education of Korea) (if applicable)
- Certificate of Completion for Korean language training (with the attendance rate)
- Tuberculosis Test Certificate
- Final Academic Credentials

The Korean Language requirements for international students at Korea University are given as follows:
A score report of TOPIK level 3 or higher
Program in Global Korean Language and Culture Studies: TOPIK 5 or higher
For the Business Analytics (BA) major in the College of Business Administration, a Korean language qualification is mandatory.
Program in Humanities and East Asian Cultural Industry: TOPIK 5 or higher / Only applicants who graduated from all majors of humanities, liberal arts, and social sciences can apply

International students can apply for Korea University admissions in the month of March for Fall intake nad in the month of August/September for Spring 2026 intake.
It is advised that these students keep a buffer to be able to meet all the admission requirements at right time.
