In 2025, the US World and News has ranked Korea University very highly by using the top parameters.
As per the US World and News rankings, this university ranks at #288 which is a slight improvement from what it was in the last year.

Yes, Korea University is ranked in the year 2026 by the Times Higher Education rankings and QS World too.
As per THE, Korea University is ranked at #156 and this accounts for an improvement in KU rankings.

Yes, Korea University is one of the best universities in the world and an elite one in South Korea.
It makes this university an excellent choice for Indian students. As per the QS World rankings in 2026, KU ranks at #61 which is an improvement from last year.
Many of its subjects as given below are also ranked by QS in the same year-

To apply for the Korean-taught programs available at Korea University, Indian students generally need a TOPIK Level 3 or higher for the UG courses. And for the PG courses at the university, TOPIK Level 5 or higher is required.
Given are the guidelines for taking TOPIK in India -
- Held in Indian cities like New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Ranchi
- TOPIK scores are valid for 2 years
- The TOPIK level 5 to 6 have higher chances for scholarships and admissions

Yes, as long as the completion of 12 years of formal education is there, Indian students can submit their high school degrees by CBSE, ISC, IB etc. If these requirements are met, given below are the other docs for the same -
- Academic transcripts
- 12th-grade completion for
- Proof of English or Korean proficiency
- Standardized tests like the SAT

Students should be careful and note that Korea University will reject their application in the following cases-
- Applicants who don't submit documentation before deadline
- Applicants who submit incomplete documents
- Applicants who don't meet the eligibility
- Applicants who lack the required academic skills
- Applicants who fraudulently carry out the application process

Korea University only requires you to submit a portfolio if you're applying for Art & Design program. It should be printed on A4 size sheet with each sheet containing only a single piece of work. Also statement of verification for Portfolio must be completed by using the KU form provided
