English is the language of instruction at Simon Fraser University. International students have to meet the Simon Fraser University IELTS requirements to get admission to undergraduate and graduate program. The university requires competence in all four of the following skills; listening, reading, speaking and writing. The table below has minimum English language requirement for SFU admissions:

One of Bocconi University's major admission requirements is that students must be proficient in written and spoken English. Applicants whose mother tongue is a language other than English, must provide an English language certificate in order to get enrolled in Bocconi University as a student.

To meet the UCLA English requirements, International applicants must take the IELTS test with an overall band score of at least 7.0 is required for PG. However, the minimum requirement for UG is 6.5 with no bands less than 6. A minimum score of 80 for TOEFL is required for UG programs and 87 for Postgraduate Programs. The iBT also has a separate section score expectations; Writing (25), speaking (24), reading (21) and listening (17). However, we suggest the applicants check the university's official website for more information and to avoid last-minute confusion.

At Fordham University, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency through English Language Proficiency test results.
