Hello,
Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam. As per the rules candidates must have completed their post-graduation or related course or enrolled for the same. There is no criteria that you need to clear the Masters within 2 year of time span only. After satisfying the eligibility criteria you can also fill the UGC NET Application form from the official website of the NTA till 9th October 2019. Hello,
To become a lecturer in English Literature, you should go for the UGC NET Exam. The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam for selecting the deserving candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for providing Junior Research Fellowship. If you are interested to appear in this exam, then it is essential to know the required eligibility criteria and application process. The exam is conducted for 81 subjects including the English Literature. NTA conducts this exam twice a year (June and December).
