Dear Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The University has an excellent connection with the industry and other global links that enable it to provide high-quality education and research programmes. Dibrugarh University has 177 affiliated colleges and institutes that are spread over nine districts of Assam. Dibrugarh University is a member of the prestigious Association of Indian Universities and is recognised by all the universities in India and abroad. The University offers courses through various departments like Faculty of Humanities and Law, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Commerce and Management Science, and Faculty of Earth Sciences and Energy.

The admissions in AIL Mohali are done through the following streams.
1. Admission to 60 seats for wards of army personnel will be done through an entrance test (Online LET) conducted by AIL under the aegis of AWES.
2. Admission to 04 seats in the All India Category will also through the same entrance test.
3. Candidates for both Army and All India Category will be called for counselling as per merit in the written exam. Admission will be granted only if the candidate is found eligible on the day of counselling.
4. Admission to 16 seats in the Punjab Category will be based on 10+2 merits, drawn up by the nominated university as per the notification issued by the government of Punjab. So if you are from Punjab then you can get admission to the asked college on the basis of 12th marks.
