Degree course: Candidates who have passed a three year Degree Examination of Universities in Tamil Nadu and Such degree awarded by Member Universities of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi for purpose of mutual recognition on reciprocal basis, after 10+2+3+ or 11+1+3 pattern and also recognised by Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University alone are eligible for admission to B. L. (3 years) Degree Course. Further there is no upper age limit for B. L. course. Hence you can pursue the asked course if meeting the above criteria.

The candidates have to download the application forms available on the official website of the university: https://iilm.edu.in. They have to fill all necessary details in the form and submit it. Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hon. ). First Semester will be made based on the merit in qualifying examination and IILM Law Entrance Test (LET) followed by an interview.

Dear Student, In India, there are 2 ways you can pursue law:
1. 5 Year Integrated Degree, you may pursue this after finishing your 12th. The stream you belong to does not matter. You may apply for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). But before applying for the test, you need to prepare yourself for it. There are 5 subjects which you need to be thorough with:
English (40 marks)
Logical Reasoning (40 marks)
G. K. (Both Current Affairs and Static G. K) (50 marks)
Legal Reasoning (50 marks)
Mathematics (20 marks)
2. 3 Year Course
For this you need a Bachelors degree in any subject. There are few universities, colleges offering a 3 year Course. There are multiple universities from where you can do 5-year LL.B. Dear Supriya, you can migrate to LPU but there are certain conditions which has to be satisfied:
Candidate must have completed his/her 1st year without any backlog/reappear. Candidate must have the minimum percentage required for eligibility qualification of the current year (in which a student is seeking migration). Student has to submit Migration Certificate and character Certificate from the head of present institute/university from which he/she is migrating. Mapping of transcripts will be processed and for this one has to pay Course mapping charges in LPU. If this goes well and there are no issues in course mapping, Candidate can join the university at any time during an academic year.
