There are two options to pursue LLB. One is the 3-year course for which the minimum eligibility criterion is graduation and the other is integrated course of 5-year duration for undergraduate students. The course is divided into six semesters in most of the law universities and admission to the same is based on entrance exams like CLAT LAWCET to name a few.
BA LLB: This is a 5-year course and the students can pursue this course after passing class 12th.
LLB: This is a 3-year course, open to graduates.
Regards.

If you have passed class 12th then you should go for 5 year integrated law courses because in 5-year law course one gets much time for studying law and how to apply the provisions of law in 5 years whereas in 3 years law course one gets less time and the course is also overburdened. By pursuing 5-year law course one can save one important year also. In 3-year law course one will be a law graduate in 6 years' time and in 5-year law course one will get a benefit of 1-year. So one must pursue 5-year law course as one gets much opportunities to enhance his/her skills after the same.
