There are many law colleges. To get admission in leading law universities, you need to crack CLAT or AILET for Delhi University. Also, you can take admission in IP University. For IPU, you have to crack IPU-CET. Other than GLC-Mumbai, Delhi University is also a good university for pursuing law.

Application Fees Payment (through SBI Collect): 01st June to 16th June 2017
Online Admit Card Download: 21st June to 24th June 2017
Entrance Test: 25th June 2017 (Sunday)
Entrance Test Overall Merit List & Category wise seat Capacity: 30th June 2017
These were the dates which are over for the current year.
For 2018 you need to wait till Jan/Feb for the dates to be finalized.

Knowledge of law and being a lawyer strengthens women and allows them speak against whatever they want to fight against, with valour and confidence. They get the authority to boost them to fight for what they stand for. Trust me, there's no bias when it comes to gender in the legal profession. Every woman is capable of arguing and doing other legal stuff as equal to men. The quality of performing such things doesn't differ from one gender to the other. Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA is the main conducting authority which conducted worldwide level entrance exam that is known as Law School Admission Test (LSAT). This entrance exam is organized to offer admission into various Law colleges/institutions of India and Foreign countries. LSAT is held for admissions into UG programmes include BA LLB, B.Sc LLB and B.Com LLB.

You can apply for the same only when you will be in the final year or after clearing LLB.
If you are so much desperate to appear the exam you should start your full-fledged preparation now so that you could qualify the exam as early as possible.
PCS exams need very determined preparation and it ideally takes 2 years preparation at least.
So, start your preparation now. You should go ahead by starting from general studies and when after sometime start the optional subjects and remaining papers.

I have seen in the past few years is that to get a good placement through the university one needs to be in the top 10% of the batch. Firms like Amarchand and Trilegal do come to recruit but it all depends upon your grades to get shortlisted for an interview. However, if you are currently pursuing law here I suggest in your penultimate and final year you should intern at a top law firms and try to get a pre placement offer.

Certain core elements or fundamentals tend to be the same but you cannot tag it as a 'same subject'. Different countries have different jurisdiction and different legal aspects. Every country has its own law. Programs vary accordingly. You may choose to be a subject matter expert which can be used anywhere in the world like business law, etc. You can practice in India after gaining your LLB from abroad or USA, you are required to apply for registration to your respective State Bar Councils upon their return to India. You must also check if the foreign university is recognized by the Bar Council of India.
