Hi Mini,
The duration for a undergraduate law course(LLB) is 3 years and you can definitely opt for LLB through distance mode. There is no course with a duration of 2 years

If you've just completed your 12th and pursuing career in law is only aim then I would suggest you to go for 5 years Law programme, as it not only make your hold in law strong but also a connoiseur when it comes to law. Integrated programs are quite popular these days. There are great law specializations available to choose from in integrated courses like:
BA LLB (Hons.) with specialization in Energy Laws
BBA LLB (Hons.) with specialization in Corporate Laws
B.Com LLB (Hons.) with specialization in Taxation Law
BA LLB (Hons.) with specialization in Criminal Laws/ Labor Laws
BA LLB (Hons.) with specialization in International Trade & Investm
...more

Hi Nidhi,
Group discussion and personal interview is part of all the law entrance exams in India, only NLU Delhi does not have GD/PI and the selection is based purely on the basis of written test.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.

Hi Nitesh,
You can check out UPES,Dehradun, CSIT College, Symbiosis Law College, Bharti Vidhyapeeth etc to pursue this course. Among these colleges UPES Dehradun provides B.Com LLB (Hons.) with specialization in Taxation Law and its a 5 year integrated degree program so if you've just completed your 12th then its best university to pursue integrated course in this specialization. Hope this info helps! Good luck :)
