Not possible, in general, life Science or medical student has the option to choose another major in master's (cross-major). But others do not have this option, however, you try to choose MBA, M.Sc. , and Psychology courses as options. But one more option is there are some private universities and institutes that may support doing life Science in a master's, But the job opportunity is questionable in government and private industries! So, get advice from experts in cross-major degrees. If you wish to be an entrepreneur and do business there is no problem for cross major studies.

Your question is not correct. The CSIR NET exam is conducted 2 times in every year, to select eligible candidates for JRF to pursue Ph.D. or work under government-sanctioned projects and Lectureships positions in government institutes. Mostly the application process starts in March or April for the June examination and September or October for the December examination. The eligibility for CSIR NET is to pursue M.Sc. , or complete M.Sc. , for JRF and M.Sc. , for lectureship. The age limit criteria are also there, and exams are conducted in a computer-based format, similar to NEET. So, visit the official CSIR NET website or NTA website f

It depends on which university you are studying if in your college there is any parallel course in which the subjects at first year is same, then they might let you change your course. But according to the best of my knowledge, you can't change branch after 1st year in B.Sc. And universities like DU don't offer integrated courses but in them also you can change your course within a limited time. And there is no way you can change to engineering while studying Life Science. So, you should think more about choosing engineering or B.Sc. So that you don't have to change your course.
