To be eligible for M.Sc. In Food and Nutrition, the typical requirement is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, Home Science, etc. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences can also be relevant and may qualify you for M.Sc. The admission procedure at the Central University of SB for the M.Sc. In Life Science is as follows:
1. You have to score a minimum of 55% in your B.Sc. Degree to be eligible for admission.
2. You need to appear in the CUET-PG entrance exam with Science subjects.
3. After results are announced, you have to register for admission counseling at CUSB.
4. During admissions counseling, you can give preference to the M.Sc. In Life Science course for admission.
5. Once you have been accepted, you must pay the required course fee to confirm your admission.

No. IGNOU does not provide master degree in Science stream except few unconventional Science subjects such as Master of Science in Counselling and Family Therapy, M.Sc. (Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science), Master of Science (Hospitality Administration), Master of Science Degree in Dietetics and Food Service Management. M.Sc. In Bioinformatic is a 2 year Post Graduation course. It is a full time and regular course. The top 3 college affiliated to the Assam university are
1) Hindustan College
2) Tezpur University
3) Dibrugarh University
The general Cutoff for the course is 92%. .
