LLM in Delhi

The South Asian University (SAU) in Delhi offers a Master of Laws (LLM) programme with intake capacity of 30 seats. The LLM programme is designed to be of two years of duration, focusing on research and South Asian legal systems' response in international law. The programme includes innovative courses such as Comparative Constitutional Law of South Asian countries and Legal expertise  Interpretation. The eligibility criteria for the LLM programme include a 5-year integrated BA/BBA/BSc/LLB degree, or a 2 or 3-year Bachelor’s degree along with a 3-year LLB degree, or a 4-year LLB degree from an institution recognised by the government of SAARC countries, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade. The admission to the LLM programme is based on the performance in the entrance examination and personal interview. The interested candidates can visit the official South Asian University website.

The eligibility criteria for LLM at South Asian University (SAU) Delhi require a minimum of 15 years of education under the 10+2+3 pattern or a 4-year degree after 10+2. The university does not specify a minimum percentage requirement for admission to the LLM program. However, based on past cutoff trends, the last two years' cutoff for LL.M entrance for Indian students was around 65.75%. While SAU does not provide direct placements, students have successfully secured internships and job opportunities through off-campus placements and internships with leading brands. Therefore, while a 70% score in class 12th may meet the general eligibility criteria for LLM admissions at SAU Delhi.
