As per last year's cut-off, it was 88-90. It is difficult to get admission through cap round. But you can get it through offline. That is after CAP round. Go to the college and ask for the admission as your score is close to their cut-off.

You cannot get the same course in a single year. You have to go for any single course otherwise both the degree will clash everywhere and you will get yourself in problem. These kind of things will impact bad on your future progress. Hope you understand it better. Thanks.

Hi Sakshi, I'm a LL. M. in business and corporate law and I work as a corporate attorney now. A LL. M. adds to your skill set as well as CV, and mostly, people who want to get into academics, do a LL. M. The things you can do as a LL. M. graduate are:
1. Work with a MNC
2. Work in a law firm
3. Do corporate litigation
4. Join a NGO
5. Make a career in arbitration etc. I personally would say that it's a good choice, so please choose wisely.

First of all, both the universities will ask for migration certificate at the time of Ph.D./LLB degree award and that time you can present only one. Secondly, Ph.D. is a research work which requires complete academic devotion and simultaneous pursuance of LL.B. may hamper that concentration. Lastly, being a Ph.D aspirant, if you can not find out UGC rules from their website then consider that you are not capable of research or Law work. So you can't do both LL. M. and Ph.D. part time.
Thank you.
