For LLM admissions abroad, you need to take english proficiency test such as IELTS or TOEFL, if english is not your native language. However, you don't need to take GRE or GMAT, unless the course specifically requires it.

Those candidates who have completed either three-year or five-year LLB programme can apply for LLM. Before pursuing this course, they must do research on the various colleges and the specialisations the colleges have to offer. Those who wish to pursue a career in academics must compulsorily pursue LLM.
