The logistics and supply chain is a growing sector in India. Any business with the aim to evolve cannot overlook the importance of logistics in business operations. It is logistics that supervise the transportation and distribution of goods, materials and all other commodities. After earning an MBA in Logistics & Operations, your career opportunities are set to broaden. You would easily get opportunities to work in planning and policy-making, motivation, evaluation, product development and inventory control. If your company is large enough, you could focus on overall management or on a small specific area of the supply chain. Supply chain and logistics MBA graduates get to work as general operations managers, logistics engineers who coordinate the flow of materials, information, and products for an organisation. Also, you can work in manufacturing development and operations managing in production planning, forecasting, etc. So you see, the scope of MBA in logistics is quiet extensive and I don't see any reason why you should't pursue it.
