No, Class 11 and 12 marks alone are not enough. If you want to take admission to B.Tech at LPU, you need to meet the eligibility criteria of LPU.
- 60% or more marks in Class 12 (with the required subjects like Physics and Mathematics).
- An entrance exam score from LPUNEST, JEE Main, or CUET.
If you have not appeared for JEE Main or CUET, then you must take LPUNEST to be eligible for admission.
In simple words:
12th marks + an entrance exam (LPUNEST/JEE Main/CUET) = B.Tech admission at LPU.

It does not accurate or exact number of seats, but LPU has many seats for B.Tech CSE, but the university does not officially announce the exact number.
It is estimated that around 8,000–9,000 students are admitted every year in CSE and its specialisations combined.
There are plenty of seats, so eligible students usually have a good chance of getting admission.

For B.Tech CSE, the best choice is:
- LPU – Best for placements, coding opportunities, modern labs, and campus life. Many IT companies visit for recruitment.
- Amity Noida – Good university with a nice campus and decent placements, but generally offers a lower return on investment than LPU.
- Sharda University – Good for studies, but placements for CSE are generally not as strong as LPU and Amity.

The total cost kind of depends on the program and also the hostel option you pick. For a normal 3-year undergraduate setup at LPU, the tuition fees change from course to course, but the hostel charges usually sit around ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000 each year, it depends on the room setup (shared or single, air-cooled vs air-conditioned). If we add tuition plus hostel, then the overall amount over three years is typically ₹6 lakh to ₹12 lakh, and this is without mess fees ,and other daily personal expenses. If you tell me your exact course like BCA, BBA , B.Sc. or something similar , I can give you a more accurate estimate.

The schedule for the qualifying examination depends on the program, and the admission cycle. For LPU, exams like LPUNEST are held in several phases across the admission season, giving students some room to pick a convenient time. The exact dates are usually published every year on the university's official admission portal so, it's better to look up the newest schedule while you apply, just so you don't accidentally skip the registration or examination deadlines.

Yes, in some cases it could be possible to join LPU even after you finish 1st year of BCA, but honestly it really depends on what LPU allows under their migration / credit transfer rules. Also it matters whether your earlier college and the specific subjects you studied, match the required criteria. If you are eligible, LPU will review your academic record, then they will decide what credits , if any can be considered for transfer. And if credit transfer isn't possible then you might need to take admission again from the first year. So its better to call or mail the admissions office with your mark sheets along with the course syllabus

Yes you can pursue BCA at LPU after Class 12, and honestly if math feels a bit weak that should not be the end of the road, so long as you have a real interest in computers and programming. At LPU, the BCA program is made to take you step by step, so you gradually learn programming, database basics, web development, software engineering, and other core IT areas. There s also a lot of practical learning, like projects, so it doesn't stay only in theory. If you enjoy working with computers, and you're ready to practice consistently, then BCA can be a solid choice, and it also sets you up for higher studies such as MCA, or for careers in

Yeah, so if you are in the last year of your B.Sc. in Chemistry , you can usually go for the M.Sc. in Biotechnology at LPU, but only if you finish your bachelor's degree and you actually satisfy the university eligibility criteria by the time of admission. And Chemistry counts as one of the accepted life science subjects for this particular program.
M.Sc. Biotechnology at LPU tends to cover molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, bioinformatics, and bioprocess technology, plus you get a decent mix of hands on lab practice, research chances, and some industry type exposure. Overall, it can be a solid pick if you want to grow yo

Yes, with 69% marks in Class 12 from the CBSE board, you are usually ok to apply for LPU's integrated B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) program, though it also depends on what the university is asking for right now. Basically, admission follows the specified eligibility criteria, and in many cases you may have to appear for LPUNEST or some other valid national level law entrance test, as per the admission cycle rules. If you truly match the conditions and you complete the admission process on time, then you have a pretty solid chance of getting admission.

You can apply for admission to LPU by doing a registration online, and then sending in your academic documents, plus meeting the eligibility part for the program you chose. For B.Tech, LPU generally takes LPUNEST, JEE Main, and CUET score , for both admissions and scholarship things. About IPU CET rank—usually it isn't really used for admission at LPU, so you'll need to go through the admission process the university actually accepts. If you are from outside Delhi, that won't really limit you, LPU takes students from all states in India, like it's pretty open. Also applying early is suggested, especially for the most sought after pro
