LPU has a pretty strong placement ecosystem for MBA students , with 450+ leading recruiters coming by the campus for management roles across banking , consulting , FMCG , IT , e commerce and financial services . In the last placement seasons, the best MBA package went up to ₹49.4 LPA, and the top 10% of MBA students managed to bag an average of ₹13.6 LPA. You'll find names like KPMG , Federal Bank , Nestlé , Asian Paints , Aditya Birla Group , plus quite a few others , they regularly pick from the university. And like with any MBA program , your final placement outcome can hinge on your specialization , your skill set , what you d

LPU doesn't really use a fixed CAT-style cutoff for MBA admissions. What you need is a minimum of 55% marks in your bachelor's degree and then you have to qualify via LPUNEST or show a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or NMAT. After that there's a video essay and an interview too. So it's less about chasing some exact cutoff number and more about ticking the eligibility box, plus doing well throughout the admission round. Also, if your entrance exam score is strong it can make you eligible for scholarships.

The salary after placement depends on your course, skills, and the company you join. LPU students receive offers from 4LPA to 250LPA. JEE is not compulsory. You can also try through LPUNEST or other accepted entrance exams, depending on the program. For most courses, you'll generally need at least 60% aggregate marks in Class 12.

LPU has this pretty solid placement ecosystem for MBA students, with recruiters coming in from various sectors like banking, FMCG, consulting, IT, e-commerce, and financial services ,and they do visit the campus. In some recent placement seasons, the highest MBA package went up to INR 49.4 LPA, and the top 10% of MBA students had an average package of INR 13.6 LPA. Now between Marketing and Tourism & Hospitality ,I'd nudge you toward Marketing if you want wider career mobility, because it basically opens a few or rather doors across nearly every field, including FMCG , retail , digital marketing, banking, and consulting. If you ve got a BBM and 60% marks, then most times you can apply for the MBA at LPU, but only if you end up matching the university admission requirements too. Which specialization is “best” really depends more on what you like doing, not just on your undergrad degree, like Marketing is a solid pick if you are into selling, branding, digital marketing, and business development. But then again Finance, HR, and Business Analytics are also pretty common and many students go for those. Now for the 2026 admission cycle, the tuition fee for the regular 2 year MBA is INR 8.8 lakh (that is INR 2.2 lakh each semester), and that figure is wi

No, CAT is not compulsory for MBA admission at LPU. You can rather apply through LPUNEST, it is accepted both for admission and scholarships, so that works even if you do not have CAT. Also LPU accepts valid scores from national-level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and NMAT , so in case you do not have a CAT score , just qualifying in LPUNEST is enough. After the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates might still need to go through the university's selection process, it includes a video essay and interview.

If you're looking at banking, investment, wealth management, fintech, or capital markets in general, then an MBA in Financial Markets from LPU might feel like a worthwhile call. The whole thing mixes core management foundations with topics such as equity and debt market(s), financial analysis, investment strategies and risk management, not to forget internships , live projects, and some real industry interaction too. LPU also maintains a solid placement ecosystem and corporate partnerships, which can give students practical exposure, kind of early. Like any MBA, the end result still depends a lot on what you learn, the certifications y

Yes, you can apply. If you're a Science student, you're eligible for the Integrated MBA program at LPU, even if you're from the Jharkhand Academic Council JAC,as long as you match the university's eligibility terms based on your Class 12 exam results. Your stream Science Commerce or Arts, won't really restrict your admission into the Integrated MBA. And if you're thinking about marketing, then you can choose the related specialization as per the program flow, along with the university's rules and guidelines.

For the 2026–27 academic session, that 4 seater standard room at LPU, costs about INR 83,000 per year (Air Cooled) or INR 93,000 per year (Air Conditioned) if you take the Early Decision Benefit. But if you don't take it, then the same 4 seater AC setup is quoted at INR 93,000 (Air Cooled) and INR 1,03,000 (Air Conditioned).
Also, there's a 4 seater AC studio apartment option, priced at INR 1,00,000 (with EDB) or INR 1,10,000 (without EDB). Just note the whole thing covers hostel stay only, and mess charges are separate , so yeah they come apart.

LPU basically gives you a bunch of hostel options, so the cost is kind of tied to what kind of room you pick. For the 2026–27 academic session, hostel fees begin at INR 70000 per year, in shared air-cooled rooms, and they can climb to INR 200000 per year if you opt for a 1-seater AC studio apartment. Students usually can select 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7, or 8-seater accommodations, and you'll get both air-cooled and air-conditioned choices. These hostels also come with Wi-Fi, housekeeping, laundry, security, a gym, and indoor sports. Mess charges are kept separately though , they depend on the meal plan you choose.
