Both are good private options for B.Tech in CSE. Lovely Professional University, but we compare in terms of B.Tech  (LPU) is generally considered a better choice than Sharda University.

LPU has a larger campus, modern computer labs, strong industry connections, and more placement opportunities. It also attracts many companies for campus recruitment and offers students internships, coding events, and skill development programs. Sharda University is also a good university, but LPU is usually preferred for CSE because of its better placement support and learning opportunities.

Yes, a good student who is hardworking definitely can get a package of ₹10 LPA in CSE. Students who have strong coding skills, good academic performance, practical projects, internships, and prepare well for placement interviews have a good chance of getting such offers. The salary depends on the student's skills, hard work, and the company hiring them, so it is possible but not guaranteed.

Overall Placements records of LPU is really good So many good company come to recruit students but yes ita also depend on you and your skills.

B.Sc. in Information Technology (IT) at LPU is a 3- year undergraduate program, sort of built for students who are really trying to get a career rolling in the IT industry. The curriculum mostly touches on programming, data bases, web development, networking, software engineering, cloud computing, and a bunch of other core IT areas, with a fairly strong focus on “learning by doing” type stuff through labs, projects, and internships. The course also comes with some specialization options, real industry exposure and placement support too, so students don't just stay theory-bound. Overall it feels like a pretty good option if you're a

Yeah, with 113 marks in JEE Main Paper 1, you actually have a decent shot at B.Tech admission at LPU, as long as you clear the program eligibility criteria and there are seats open at that time. LPU uses JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions, so in many cases you can apply without necessarily giving LPUNEST, if the admission rules for that cycle allow it. Also, based on your JEE Main percentile and whatever the university has set for scholarship policy this time around, you might qualify for a tuition fee scholarship, a sort of reduction in fees. It's better to apply early, because for high demand branches like CSE, competition gets mo

Lovely Professional University, often said as LPU, is basically one of India's leading private universities, and it has a bunch of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs across engineering, management, law, design, agriculture, health sciences, humanities and more. It's UGC recognized too, plus it has NAAC A++ accreditation, so there's this clear emphasis on industry oriented education research, innovation, and also practical learning. Students here get access to modern labs, international partnerships, scholarships via LPUNEST and several other eligibility rules, and a lively residential campus, not to mention a placement e

Yes, you can try for B.Tech CSE (Hons.) at LPU as long as you fit the eligibility criteria. Most times the students need, at minimum 60% in 10+2 in aggregate, and with Physics, Mathematics, and English (or something equivalent). Also you have to pass the required test like LPUNEST, or JEE Main, or CUET depending on what LPU considers for your case. Admissions usually come down to a mix of eligibility, entrance score, and how many seats are there.

If you are leaning towards special tracks like AI & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or Full Stack Development , then B.Tech CSE (Hons.) can be a pretty solid option since t

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is kind of one of the top private universities in India, and it offers, well a huge spread of programs—undergraduate, postgraduate, and even doctoral—across engineering, management, law, design, agriculture, health sciences, humanities, and more. The university is UGC-recognized and NAAC A++ accredited, and it keeps a big emphasis on industry oriented education, research, innovation, and hands on learning. Students also get modern laboratories, plus international collaborations scholarships through LPUNEST and several other criteria, and then there is a lively residential campus too. On top of t

Yes, with a 93 percentile in JEE Main you usually have a pretty strong chance of landing direct admission in B.Tech at LPU, if you of course match the program eligibility criteria and there are seats still available. LPU does consider JEE Main scores for admission, so doing LPUNEST isn't strictly required if you plan to apply via JEE Main. Also, that kind of score, like 93 percentile, can sometimes make you eligible for a scholarship, though it depends on LPU's scholarship policy for that specific admission year or cycle.

No, Class 11 and 12 marks alone are not enough. If you want to take admission to B.Tech at LPU, you need to meet the eligibility criteria of LPU.

  • 60% or more marks in Class 12 (with the required subjects like Physics and Mathematics).
  • An entrance exam score from LPUNEST, JEE Main, or CUET.

If you have not appeared for JEE Main or CUET, then you must take LPUNEST to be eligible for admission.

In simple words:
12th marks + an entrance exam (LPUNEST/JEE Main/CUET) = B.Tech admission at LPU.

It does not accurate or exact number of seats, but LPU has many seats for B.Tech CSE, but the university does not officially announce the exact number.

It is estimated that around 8,000–9,000 students are admitted every year in CSE and its specialisations combined.

There are plenty of seats, so eligible students usually have a good chance of getting admission.
