Yes, Lovely Professional University provides HR (Human Resource Management) specialization in a few formats, like MBA Online, Distance/ODL, and regular MBA programs too. For the Online MBA HRM program, the subjects are typically about talent acquisition, performance management, labour laws , training & development, plus HR analytics, so overall it leans more toward handling people, workplace culture, recruiting, and employee growth. This can be a solid option if you have an interest in communication, leadership, recruitment, or corporate management rather than technical subjects.

No, you cannot really study B.Ed in distance mode from LPU or at least not in the way you might expect. B.Ed at LPU is given only as a 2 year full time, on campus programme. This is because B.Ed is a professional teaching course which is monitored by NCTE, and it also needs regular classes, plus teaching practice and other practical components. Those parts are not permitted in pure distance education mode, so LPU keeps it only on campus.

No, you can't do B.Ed via distance mode from LPU. The B.Ed at LPU is basically only provided as a regular, on campus, 2-year full time programme because B.Ed is a professional teaching course, regulated by NCTE, and it involves supervised practice, set teaching hours , plus practical components. These things can't really be completed in pure distance learning, you know, not in the way it's normally expected.

Joining after completing the first year of BCA depends on the university policy and whether credit transfer or lateral entry options are available. In the case of LPU, direct entry after only one year of BCA may not apply in many situations because lateral entry is generally linked with specific eligibility criteria and equivalent qualifications. It is better to check the course requirements carefully before making a decision. The advantage of checking transfer options early is that academic continuity and future career planning become easier.

Among KIIT, LPU, and Galgotias for CSE, many students consider LPU a strong option because of its larger industry exposure, placement opportunities, and modern infrastructure. LPU has tie-ups with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys, which helps students with internships and placements. The university focuses heavily on coding culture, hackathons, live projects, industry certifications, and practical learning. Students also get access to advanced labs, innovation studios, and a diverse peer environment with learners from across India and abroad. Compared to many private universities, LPU is often

Yes, with an LPUNEST rank of 4444, there are reasonable chances of getting CSE at LPU, although the exact counseling round depends on seat availability and competition in that particular admission cycle. Generally, highly preferred branches like CSE fill faster in the initial rounds, so students with ranks around this range may get seats in later counseling rounds if seats remain available. Many students also get upgraded branches during subsequent rounds based on vacant seats and merit movement. LPU's CSE program is quite popular because of its strong placement record, coding culture, industry tie-ups, and internship opportunities. Co

If you want a university with good cybersecurity exposure, strong placements, industry tie-ups, and better overall brand value, then both Lovely Professional University and Chandigarh University are good options — but for Cybersecurity, Chandigarh University (CU) has a slight edge overall, while LPU is better for campus exposure and opportunities.
Parameters | Chandigarh University | LPU |
|---|---|---|
NIRF Ranking 2025 | 31 | 48 |
Cybersecurity Collaboration | Collaboration with IBM | Tie-up with CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) |
Tuition Fee | INR 13.6 lakh | INR 16.4 lakh |
the highest Package | INR 59.9 LPA | INR 54.75 LPA |
Exam Accepted | CUCET | LPU NEST |
So, choose your college wisely as both college is good for placement prospects. However, no private university can guarantee a huge package to everyone. Your placement will mainly depend on Skills, Internships, Certifications, and Coding practice.

If you ask me honestly, for MBA I would personally prefer Lovely Professional University over Doon Business School because LPU offers a much larger campus ecosystem, stronger industry exposure, and wider placement opportunities. One thing that really helps MBA students at LPU is the diversity; you get students from almost every state and even from other countries, which improves networking, communication, and overall personality development.
Another important factor is placements and exposure. LPU attracts a larger number of recruiters and provides dedicated support for aptitude, soft skills, interviews, and corporate grooming. The aver
