If you're considering LPU for CSE, I wouldn't make the decision based only on rumours. LPU has a large campus, good industry exposure and multiple CSE specialisations such as AI & ML, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Data Science. Its placement opportunities are also a positive point. If the course, fees and campus environment suit you, LPU can definitely be considered as an option for CSE. Ultimately, your skills, projects and consistency will also play a major role in placements.

If I had to choose between SRM and LPU, I would lean towards LPU for the overall experience. LPU offers a wide range of courses, good industry exposure, practical learning, a diverse student community and plenty of opportunities beyond academics. The campus life and career-focused approach are also major advantages. Overall, if you want a balance of academics, exposure, campus life and career opportunities, LPU is worth considering.

ICAR approval depends on the programme and the recognition granted by the concerned authority, so it would not be right to say it will definitely get approval unless there is an official confirmation. For LPU, the academic focus includes practical learning, industry exposure and career-oriented training. Students looking at agriculture programmes should check the current recognition status of their specific course before taking a final decision.

The labs are modern, the recruiter list is huge, and you'll meet people from almost every state, which honestly helps a lot with networking too.

SRM Chennai is a respected engineering university, no doubt. But if I had these two options today, I'd lean towards LPU because it offers a stronger all-round campus experience along with solid CSE opportunities.

A diploma does not automatically reduce the duration of an Aerospace Engineering degree. It depends on the diploma and the university's lateral entry rules.
