Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (BA/ BCom or other degrees) or a four-year BA, BS, BTech or an earlier postgraduate degrees such as MA, MSc, etc. with a minimum of 60% aggregate for GN/ EWS/ OBC (NC) and 55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD can apply for MA by Research. The eligibility criteria for the M.A. programme at Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) is as follows:
For Indian/Domestic (General Category) candidates:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related fields will be given preference.

Selection Process:

The eligibility criteria for M.A. at Rajagiri Business School includes the following requirements:

1. A pass in any Bachelor's Degree Examination duly recognised by Mahatma Gandhi University with not less than 55% marks in Science and Technology Subjects and 50% marks in other subjects in the aggregate for all parts of examinations, or a Master’s Degree Examination with 55% marks in aggregate.

2. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in any Bachelor's Degree examination is needed.
