The M.A at SHSS Sharda University if for 2 years i.e 4 semesters. The Eligibility criteria for M.A at SHSS Sharda University is B.A with minimum 50% and a valid score in SUAT. They offer many programme and all of them requires 50% in their respective B.A major. Like M.A - English requires B.A (English) with minimum 50% marks. They also give scholarships based on percentage.

Netaji Subhas Open University offers an MA in History through the School of Social Sciences. The course is spread over a minimum duration of two years and can be completed up to five years. The eligibility criteria are different for students from the CBCS and non-CBCS categories.

For Non CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) and have scored at least 300 marks in History, are eligible to apply for the programme.

For CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) with Core Course (CC/Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/ Equivalent in History, are eligible to pursue the programme.

To be eligible for an MA at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit,  you must have an undergraduate degree (10+2+3) from a recognised university. 

 

For MA in Sanskrit, you must also have: 

 

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in Sanskrit or an equivalent discipline
  • A minimum of 50-55% in BA Sanskrit or any equivalent higher degree
  • Qualified for entrance exams such as CUET-PG, DSVEE, etc.

The MA in Sanskrit programme is two years long. The average annual course fees generally ranges between INR 10,000 and 1,00,000
