No, candidates are not allowed to get admission to MA courses at SIMC Pune. Students must take the MA (MC Entrance Test) conducted by the institute itself. Hence, for admission, candidates are required to qualify for the basic eligibility criteria and then secure valid scores in the entrance examination. However, the institute has some management quota seats, for getting these seats students should contact the institute's admission office directly.

Yes, Symbiosis Institute of Mass & Communication offers MA course for two year. The institute offers MA courses in two specialisation i.e., MA in Mass Communication (Journalism) and MA in Mass Communication (Audio-Visual). For admission to this course candidates must graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). Additionally, the selection process is based on SIMC MA (MC) Online Entrance Test scores.
